Something like D:\Music\Rips\ and then put Artist and Album folders under that. ![]() Personally, I would figure out a good location for my CD rips and stick to it. Having them in a folder called "Media Go" doesn't make a ton of sense to me, unless you intend on using that program to play your media files too. To address your question about "where to put things" once they are ripped: This is entirely up to you. Exact Audio Copy is supposed to be great. But I also use a Mac, so I can't give you a really solid recommendation for a Windows based ripping application. I've had mixed results with JRiver MC's on board ripping engine. I have half a dozen auto import directories set up for different file types (Audio in one place and Video in another) and different drives. ![]() For example, you might want to only monitor audio folders for Audio file types and NOT import any other file types there like JPGs, etc. You can limit these folders to just particular file types, or entire categories. In the resulting dialog, you can add one or more folders that will be monitored continuously for new songs/albums/files. Tools > Options > Library
